The Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology, Minna has announced the appointment of Mal. Danladi Mallam as the institution’s 7th substantive Registrar, effective from January 14, 2025.

A letter signed by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Dr. Mohammed K. Santuraki confirmed the five-year appointment, following approval at the Council’s 157th meeting held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the Academic Publishing Centre, Main Campus.

Mal. Danladi joined FUT, Minna on May 9, 2007, as an Administrative Officer in the Registry Department. Over the years, he rose through the ranks and was promoted Deputy Registrar on October 1, 2019.

The new Registrar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A. Ed.) in History (2002) and a Master’s degree in History (2014), both from Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto.

Born on May 11, 1971, Mal. Danladi hails from Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State. He brings with him a wealth of administrative experience, having served in various units of the Registry Department and several committees, including the Governing Council of the University as an Assistant Secretary.

A professional administrator, Mal. Danladi is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), and the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

He is married and blessed with five children.
