Quality Assurance
and Productivity(QAP)

Federal University of Technology Minna > Quality Assurance
and Productivity(QAP)

The Quality Assurance and Productivity (QAP) Unit believes that its services to the University will lead to institutional effectiveness and excellence in academic and non-academic arenas. This assumption is based on the belief that FUT-Minna and its community can operate and function beyond the University Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards (BMAS).
The Office of Quality Assurance and Productivity (QAP) FUT, Minna was created following the NUC directive for all Nigerian Universities to create such Office in 2009. In the year 2010, the QAP Office was created as a part of Academic Planning Unit. In February 2011, the University Management in compliance with the NUC directive, excised it out of Academic Planning Unit into a Unit of its own. In its inception, QAP was a one-man operation and now it has gradually grown with many staff and departments. and The Director report directly to the Vice-Chancellor. The unit has a Staff strength of seven (7) senior Staff who are covering the entire University.
