Biography

Dr. Mohammed Santuraki currently serves as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in June 2024. Prior to this, he held the same role at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University and was the Vice Chairman of the Committee of Pro-Chancellors of State-Owned Universities in Nigeria.

MD/CEO of FBN Mortgages and the Bank of Agriculture.

Chairman, Association of Nigerian Development Finance Institutions.

Academic and Professional Qualifications: Dr. Santuraki holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Ahmadu Bello University and an MBA from the University of Ibadan. He is a fellow of several prestigious institutions, including:

Chartered Institute of Directors (FCIoD).

Nigerian Institute of Management (FNIM).

Institute of Credit Administrators (FICA). Additionally, he is an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIB) and has attended executive programs at Oxford, Harvard, and Stanford.

Areas of Interest: His professional interests span agribusiness, leadership development, corporate governance, and technology entrepreneurship. He is also the founder of the Nnagi-Salima Foundation, which empowers the less privileged, and he holds the traditional title of Santuraki Nupe, reflecting his royal heritage from the Umaru Majigi Royal House of Bida, Niger State.
