The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta has set up a whistle blowing committee for the institution.
While inaugurating the committee on Monday, 13 February 2023 at the Main Campus, Gidan Kwano, Prof. Kuta appreciated the committee members for accepting to serve, adding that it is a challenging responsibility saddled with the job of policing people on campus, addressing abnormal issues that people choose to do.
Noting that the task ahead of the committee is very big, he urged them to look up to God by doing it with a sincere heart for the betterment of the society.
The VC who disclosed that the University Management painstakingly selected members of the Committee, congratulated them for being found worthy of the responsibility.
He assured that Management would give them all the necessary support and prayed for God’s guidance as they carry out the task of training young minds to be better in the society.
The Chairman of the Committee, Prof. Kassim Isah, in his short remark appreciated the VC for the opportunity given to them to serve and promised to always call on him, should they encounter any challenges.
