Prof. Gambari, Amosa Isiaka started his academic career after obtaining a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Higher National Diploma in Public Administration, Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Computer Science, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Master of Technology, and Ph.D in Educational Technology. 

He has taught several courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels within and outside the country. He has supervised a good number of Ph.D, Master’s, Postgraduate Diploma Theses, and Undergraduate projects respectively.  

He joined the services of the University as Lecturer II in 2005 and rose to the rank of Professor in 2017. He has held several positions and administrative responsibilities within and outside the university community. He was the Head, Instructional System Design, Deputy Director and Acting Director for the Centre for Open and Distance Learning, Deputy Dean, and currently the Dean of the School of Science and Technology Education. 

He has served as an external examiner, assessor, editor, and reviewer of many reputable journals and conference proceedings. He was the chairman and member of committees within and outside the University community. He is a public speaker and has served as a Guest Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Lead Paper Presenter, Resource Person, and Workshop Facilitator at various academic fora. 

He is a seasoned scholar with a lot of articles in reputable international and national journals and conferences. He has attended and presented papers at many international and national conferences across the globe. He has also authored many books and chapters in books. He has won several awards at exhibitions and attracted Research Grants to the University. He is a member of many professional bodies. His hobbies include internet surfing, writing, and sports.
