PROF ADEBOYE HAS PROJECTED FUTMINNA TO THE WIDER WORLD – PROF BALA

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Prof. Abdullahi Bala fsssn, has reckoned with the contributions of Prof. Kayode Rufus Adeboye, FMAN, FNMS, FAC, the first professor of mathematics in the University.
Prof. Bala made this acknowledgement on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, while declaring open the ongoing International Conference on Contemporary Mathematical Sciences in honour of the retired Prof. Adeboye with the theme: The Role of Mathematical Sciences in Sustainable Development Goals at Information Technology Services, Gidan Kwano, Minna.
The Vice-Chancellor who was represented at the event by the Dean of Postgraduate School, Prof. Oladiran Abubakre pointed out that Prof. Adeboye’s contributions in the field of Mathematics have projected the image of his department and the University to the wider world.
Prof. Bala affirmed that in line with his mission of celebrating and giving honour to those who have laboured hard for the University, he identifies with Mathematics Department for organizing the Conference.
