As part of efforts to ensure that students, staff and members of the host community get quality meals at affordable prices, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Prof. Abdullahi Bala, fsssn, has unveiled the new outlet of Kamzaf Fast Foods (KFF) Place 3 located in Gidan Kwano.
The colourful ceremony took place today, Wednesday, July 22, 2020 and was well attended by dignitaries from all walks of life.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Bala applauded the Chairman of KFF Group for establishing the eatery close to the University, adding that the presence of the eatery would ensure that students, staff and members of the University community enjoy affordable, cost-sensitive meals.
The Vice-Chancellor who was represented at the event by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of the institution, Prof. Yahaya Ahmed Iyaka, fcsn, urged the KFF Group to maintain the lofty standards seen  and assured them of the University Management's support and patronage.
In his address at the event, the Chairman of Bosso Local Government Area, Arc. Abubakar Suleiman Gomna expressed gratitude to the Management of KFF Group for finding the Local Government Area worthy for the establishment of one of its outlets.
 Furthermore, he noted that the presence of the KFF eatery in Gidan Kwano community would further boost the economy of the area, while also providing a world class place of relaxation for staff and students of the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
Arc. Gomna admonished members of the Gidan Kwano community to see the KFF outlet as one of their projects and support it to grow in order to provide employment opportunities for the teeming youth of the community.
He assured the KFF Group of the Local Government's support and urged them not to compromise on standards.
Making his remarks, the Dagachin Gidan Kwano, Alh. Abdulmalik Muhammad expressed appreciation to the KFF Group for bringing development to the community and pleaded for the community support towards ensuring that the company actualize the purpose of its establishment.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of KFF Group, Arc. Bako I. Muhammad, FNIMC, stated that the establishment of the KFF outlet in Gidan Kwano was in tandem with KFF’s policy of providing essential services to the University community. He stated that the KFF Group has handled a series of high profile events within the State with impeccable records of excellent delivery.
The Chairman disclosed that the main production focus of the KFF are sumptuous meals, snacks, bakery and natural fresh beverages while revealing that the KFF Group is fulfilled with the take-off of the Gidan Kwano outlet because of its strategic location. 
Equally important, the Chairman disclosed that the company had provided over 27 jobs for the unemployed and urged other wealthy individuals to invest in business ventures in order to reduce the rate of unemployment in Niger State.
"I am glad to inform you that this branch has engaged a total of 27 staff including men and women from the immediate host community. As of today, KFF Group in Niger State has employed a total of 69 staff and others on part-time basis", the Chairman, KFF Group disclosed. 
The eatery comprises the restaurant, bakery with capacity to produce over 1,000 loaves of bread daily, snacks and small chops corner. Others include Students’ ICT Centre, outdoor relaxation spot as well as ice cream and beverages corner.
Other dignitaries present at the event also took turns to commend the Chairman of KFF Group for changing the narrative of fast foods business in the State. 
The KFF Group has been in business for over five years with three branches across the State.
